Warehouse Operative

We’re recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse team supporting the movement of goods both within the UK and internationally. This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in ensuring products are received, stored and dispatched accurately and on time.


Your duties as a Warehouse Operative will include:

• Picking and packing customer orders
• Receiving, checking and storing incoming deliveries
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely
• Carrying out goods in and goods out inspections
• Preparing orders for dispatch, including pallet wrapping and labelling
• Completing stock movements and updating warehouse systems
• Carrying out stock checks and maintaining stock accuracy
• Operating warehouse equipment, including a Counterbalance Forklift (where licensed)
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and efficient

To be successful for this Warehouse Operative role you will need:

• Previous warehouse experience within a manufacturing or distribution environment
• Counterbalance Forklift experience (valid licence preferred)
• Experience preparing goods for UK and international dispatch is advantageous
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• The ability to undertake manual handling duties
