Y5 Primary Teacher

Provide Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in DN33, supporting pupils across Key Stage 2.

Primary Teacher Role Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting
• Experience teaching Year 5 or within KS2
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A proactive and reflective approach to teaching
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply

The Successful Primary Teacher Will

• Plan and deliver engaging Year 5 lessons in line with the primary curriculum
• Differentiate teaching to meet a range of learning needs
• Monitor, assess and track pupil progress
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCO and leadership
• Support pupils to achieve their full academic and personal potential
