Business Analyst

Henderson Scott is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a major professional services organisation.

This is a hands-on delivery role requiring someone who can take ownership of work throughout the full project lifecycle. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and developers to understand requirements and support solutions through build, testing and implementation.

Key responsibilities:

• Gather, analyse and document business and system requirements.
• Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
• Produce clear current-state and future-state process maps.
• Translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with development teams throughout the build.
• Provide clarification and manage changes to requirements.
• Support test planning, system testing and user acceptance testing.
• Assist with defect investigation, prioritisation and resolution.
• Maintain traceability from requirements through to testing and delivery.
• Support implementation, business readiness and handover into BAU.

Required experience:

• Strong experience working as a Business Analyst across the full delivery lifecycle.
• Excellent requirements-gathering and process-mapping skills.
• Experience producing user stories, acceptance criteria and functional documentation.
• Previous involvement in system builds, testing and implementation.
• Confidence working with both business and technical stakeholders.
• The ability to work independently and deliver high-quality outputs with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
