7.5t Driver

Summary We're looking for an experienced 7.5T Install Driver to join our growing Basingstoke transport operation. Working as part of a dedicated two-person installation team, you'll deliver bathroom products directly into customers' homes, building sites and  showrooms across Southern England and beyond. This is far more than simply driving a vehicle. You'll be representing the Our Clients brand every day, providing exceptional customer service while safely delivering and positioning products exactly where our customers need them. No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork and working independently. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 7.5T vehicle in line with all road transport legislation.
• Deliver bathroom products to customers, installers and Easy Bathrooms showrooms.
• Work as part of a professional two-person delivery team.
• Carefully carry products into customers' properties, including upstairs where safe and appropriate.
• Complete deliveries with care, ensuring products arrive in perfect condition.
• Use manual handling equipment safely and correctly.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety inspections and defect reporting.
• Ensure all delivery paperwork and electronic PODs are completed accurately.
• Deliver outstanding customer service on every delivery.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, appearance and communication.
• Keep vehicles clean, safe and roadworthy.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and Safe Systems of Work.
• Comply fully with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Tachograph legislation.

What We're Looking For

• Full UK Category C1 (7.5T) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous multidrop delivery experience.
• Experience working within a two-person delivery environment is desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good geographical knowledge.
• Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced transport operation.
• Strong communication skills.
• Flexible approach to working hours as routes can vary.
• A positive, team-focused attitude.

Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding role and will involve:

• Regular lifting of heavy bathroom products.
• Carrying products through customers' homes.
• Working with baths, shower enclosures, tiles, furniture and sanitaryware.
• Frequent climbing of stairs.
• Manual handling throughout the day.
• Working in a variety of weather conditions.
