Bedford, Bedfordshire Vibrant Recruits Ltd Transport Refrigeration Manager Location: Home-based – Bedford, Coventry, Birmingham, Tamworth, Middlesex, Sussex, Kent or surrounding areas Salary: Up to £65,000 Vehicle: Fully equipped company van The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced Transport Refrigeration Manager to join an established and growing business within the commercial vehicle and transport refrigeration sector. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Transport Refrigeration Engineer who is ready to take the next step in their career, combining hands-on engineering with management, planning and coordination. The role is home-based, with responsibility for a local customer area and a combination of planned maintenance, breakdown coordination and hands-on refrigeration engineering. The Role You will be responsible for: * Liaising with customers to arrange planned maintenance and service visits. * Allocating breakdowns and organising engineers' workloads. * Coordinating parts required for repairs and maintenance. * Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records. * Managing customer requirements and ensuring work is completed efficiently. * Supporting engineers with technical and operational requirements. * Carrying out planned maintenance, servicing, fault finding and repairs within your local area. * Diagnosing refrigeration faults and carrying out effective repairs. * Maintaining strong customer relationships. * Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with F-Gas requirements. About You We are looking for an experienced Transport Refrigeration Engineer who is ready to take on additional responsibility. You will ideally have: * Proven experience working on transport refrigeration systems. * F-Gas qualification/licence – essential. * Ideally Carrier and/or Thermo King experience. * Excellent refrigeration fault-finding and repair skills. * Good customer-facing and communication skills. * Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads. * Confidence coordinating engineers and communicating with customers. * Full UK driving licence.
