Client Services Director

The agency is a specialist in internal communications, and one of the most highly regarded in the UK for it. This is not a generalist agency doing internal comms on the side. Behavioural science and cultural insight sit alongside the creative team as equal disciplines. You’ll join as the single senior owner of delivery quality across the client portfolio, with no revenue target attached: your mandate is standards, not sales.

The Role
Leading delivery oversight across the full client portfolio, including complex, blue-chip engagement work for globally recognised brands across entertainment, financial services and professional services.

You’ll establish and maintain delivery governance, standards and controls proportionate to each project’s scale and risk, act as the senior escalation point for the delivery team, bringing clear decisions to high-risk or stalled situations and protect programme margin through scope control, tested estimates and early intervention before commitments are made.

Day-to-day, you’ll build senior client relationships where delivery assurance is needed, working alongside Client Partners so they can focus on the relationship rather than the mechanics, as well as coaching the delivery team, clarifying decision rights, and shaping recruitment and succession. Your authority is delivery quality, and your influence over commercial decisions runs through your control of scope, estimates and margin.

The Person
You are a Director or delivery leader from a comparable agency, integrated comms or professional-services firm. You have run multiple concurrent programmes across client portfolios, led recovery on troubled projects, and managed budgets, margin and scope without stripping accountability from the leads beneath you. 

You are credible with senior clients, and comfortable staying focused on delivery rather than chasing the account.
