Monday to Friday | Term Time Only | Temp to Perm Opportunity | £92.59 per day
Are you passionate about helping children develop confidence, resilience, and positive behaviours?
A specialist SEMH primary school in Haywards Heath is looking for a Positive Behaviour Support Assistant to work closely with pupils who need additional emotional and behavioural support to access learning and thrive in school.
The Role:
Supporting primary-aged pupils with SEMH needs throughout the school day
Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
Building trusted relationships with pupils to help them feel safe and supported
Working alongside teachers to promote engagement in learning
Supporting social skills, confidence, and independence
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience supporting children with SEMH, SEND, autism, ADHD, or challenging behaviour is desirable
Calm, patient, and resilient with a positive outlook
Confident building strong relationships with young children
Passionate about making a lasting difference in children’s lives
Must be a driver with access to a vehicle due to the school’s rural location
