Do you enjoy helping children overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential?
A specialist SEND school in Godalming is looking for a compassionate Learning Support Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil, helping them feel confident, engaged, and successful throughout the school day.
The Role

Deliver tailored 1:1 support to meet the pupil’s individual learning and emotional needs.
Help the pupil remain engaged and focused during lessons.
Encourage independence, confidence, and positive social interactions.
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and the wider support team.
Create a calm, consistent, and supportive learning environment.

About You

Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND is beneficial.
Calm, empathetic, and adaptable in your approach.
Able to build trusting relationships with pupils and staff.
Passionate about supporting children to achieve their personal best.
Must be a driver with access to a vehicle due to the school’s rural location.
