Are you passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential?
A specialist SEMH school in West Drayton is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to work with pupils who require additional social, emotional, and behavioural support. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on building positive relationships and making a lasting difference.
The Role

Support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs throughout the school day.
Use positive behaviour strategies to promote engagement and emotional regulation.
Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and act as a consistent role model.
Work alongside teachers and the pastoral team to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
Encourage confidence, resilience, and independence both in and out of the classroom.

About You

Experience working with children or young people with SEMH, SEND, or challenging behaviour is desirable.
Calm, resilient, and confident managing behaviours positively.
Able to build meaningful relationships with pupils from a range of backgrounds.
Passionate about supporting vulnerable young people to succeed.
A proactive, patient, and adaptable approach to every day.
