We are working with a progressive referral veterinary hospital where you’ll work alongside a large, friendly and very experienced team, with the chance to develop your anaesthesia skills in a specialist setting.

The role

We’re looking for a passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join the team in a Twilight Anaesthesia role.

You’ll play a key part in caring for patients undergoing advanced imaging and surgery, working alongside Specialists, Senior RVNs and the wider clinical team. It’s a great opportunity for an RVN who enjoys anaesthesia and wants to take their clinical skills to the next level.

Salary is up to £35,045 dependent on experience.

Hours

40 hours per week, working 5 days of 8 hours on a 5 week rota. You’ll also be part of the nursing rota for weekend, bank holiday and OOH cover.

This role gives you a fantastic opportunity to have a great work/life balance whilst still having access to interesting caseloads in a supportive and specialist environment.

Day to day duties

• Providing exceptional care to patients undergoing anaesthesia.
• Monitoring patients throughout anaesthesia and recovery.
• Working alongside an experienced and supportive clinical team.
• Using your nursing skills to make confident decisions, including in time-critical situations.
• Developing advanced anaesthesia knowledge and clinical skills.
• Being involved in a varied caseload within a specialist hospital environment.
