Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm
Pay: £17.50–£19.00 per hour, depending on experience

About the Role
DC Personnel are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Quality Assurance & Compliance Officer to join their food production team in Coalville.

This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining high standards of food safety, quality and compliance, with particular focus on SOPs, HACCP and SALSA requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine quality and food safety checks.
Maintain and review SOPs and food safety procedures.
Monitor HACCP controls, temperatures and production records.
Support and maintain SALSA compliance.
Conduct internal audits and site inspections.
Identify and manage non-conformances and corrective actions.
Maintain traceability, allergen and labelling controls.
Check incoming raw materials and finished products.
Monitor cleaning, hygiene and pest-control standards.
Investigate customer complaints and quality issues.
Maintain accurate compliance and training records.
Support preparation for SALSA audits.
Work closely with production staff and management to continually improve standards.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:

Experience in food manufacturing, food safety or quality assurance.
Good knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures.
Experience with SOPs and quality documentation.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Confidence to identify and challenge poor practices.
Experience with SALSA would be highly desirable.
A practical, hands-on approach to quality and compliance.
What We Offer
£17.50–£19.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm.
