General Practitioner – Ongoing Locum Sessions | Solihull

Location: Solihull, West Midlands
Rate: £90 per hour (Outside IR35)
Hours: 9:30am-6:00pm
Clinical System: SystmOne
Contract: Ad-hoc and ongoing sessions
Start Date: 24 and 28 August 2026, with further sessions expected.

We are recruiting General Practitioners to support a well-established training practice in Solihull, with immediate and ongoing requirements.

The practice is looking to build a reliable pool of General Practitioners for regular weekday sessions.

The Role

• 10-minute patient appointments
• One to two catch-up appointments per session, depending on session length
• Own-generated administrative work, with additional administrative time allocated where required
• Duty Doctor responsibilities on most days
• Occasional supervision of Foundation Year 2 doctors, Specialty Trainees or Paramedic clinicians, with dedicated time provided
• No routine home visits; only exceptional emergency visits where no other General Practitioner is available

Requirements

• General Medical Council registration with a licence to practise
• National Health Service Performers List
• Recent United Kingdom General Practice experience
• SystmOne experience
• Full compliance
