HV Project Engineer

Our client is currently seeking a skilled HV Project Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves working on high-voltage (HV) electrical projects, ensuring successful project delivery and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and overseeing HV electrical projects within the water sector
• Ensuring all projects meet technical specifications and safety standards
• Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
• Conducting site inspections and assessments to monitor project progress
• Providing technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle
• Preparing detailed project documentation, including reports and technical drawings
• Ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
• Addressing any challenges or issues that arise during project execution

Job Requirements:

• Experience in HV electrical engineering
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols
• Proficiency in project management within the water sector
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field

Qualifications:

• UK HV qualification
• HNC/HND/Bsc - Electrical Engineering or similar ideally
• SMSTS
• CSCS
