Senior Clerical Officer (EANI)
Location: Armagh (3 Charlemont Place, The Mall, Armagh BT61 9AX)

Brook Street, in partnership with EANI, is offering a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive Public Sector team in Armagh. This is a great role for someone who enjoys organised, people-focused administration and wants to build valuable experience in a meaningful environment.

What you'll be doing:
* Deliver efficient administrative, clerical and/or secretarial support to functional and operational colleagues
* Supervise clerical officers when the Senior Executive Officer is absent, ensuring work meets agreed standards
* Provide advice and assistance to Education Authority officers, customers, the public and other professionals (as directed)
* Produce professional clerical support including letters, minutes and notes for officers
* Support the collation of factual data and statistical information from multiple sources
* Process claims and invoices for payment in line with agreed procedures
* Manage written, verbal and telephone communications, handling queries with tact and diplomacy
* Maintain accurate recording and filing systems, and disseminate information appropriately
* Coordinate meetings and assist with administrative support for courses and conferences
* Order and monitor stationery and office requisitions for the section

* Strong communication skills and confidence working effectively with others as part of a team
* Initiative to solve problems and respond appropriately in the absence of the Senior Executive Officer
* A responsive, customer-focused approach-plus the ability to handle confidential material

Additional information:
* Full-time role, Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00 (37 hours per week)
* Hourly rate: £14.99ph
* Remote working is available, but you must be based in Northern Ireland and able to travel locally for team meetings and to collect IT
* Assignment runs from ASAP until 31/12/2026 (training provided; senior admin experience preferred)
* Interviews via Microsoft Teams
* IT: Excel and Outlook knowledge required
* Clearance: BASIC DBS will be applied for by Brook Street upon a successful application (additional overseas police check may be required if applicable)
