About the role
Source Supply is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, skilled, and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join the Year 3 team at a large, vibrant, and inclusive primary school in Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner who is passionate about making a positive difference to children’s education and committed to helping every pupil achieve their full potential in a supportive and inspiring learning environment.

Working closely with the class teacher and senior leadership team, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality classroom support and targeted interventions that meet the diverse needs of learners. You will help pupils develop academically, socially, and emotionally, ensuring that any barriers to learning are identified and addressed through effective, inclusive practice.

The role will also involve contributing to the planning, preparation, and evaluation of engaging learning activities, supporting the delivery of a broad, balanced, and stimulating curriculum that promotes excellent outcomes for all pupils. You will be expected to foster positive relationships with children, staff, and parents while maintaining high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and wellbeing.

Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:
– Experience in working with children in a school or specialist setting
– A nurturing, patient and consistent approach
– Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
– Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
– Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
– Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
