About the role
Job Title: Fitter
Location: Titchfield, Hampshire
Contract: Long-term PAYE Contract (to June 2027)
Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK and comply with ITAR requirements.
Pay Rates (PAYE)
First 12 Weeks
Basic: £17.42 | £19.96 inc. hol. | OT: £26.13 | £29.93 inc. hol. | Sun: £34.85 | £39.91 inc. hol.
After 12 Weeks
Basic: £17.95 | £20.56 inc. hol. | OT: £26.93 | £30.84 inc. hol. | Sun: £35.90 | £41.12 inc. hol.
Overtime: x1.5 after 37 hours & Saturdays | x2 Sundays & Bank Holidays
Additional pay grade increases available following training.
The Opportunity
We're recruiting multiple Fitters - Aerospace Manufacturing (Trent, Gimbals & Bellows) to join a growing aerospace manufacturing team producing precision-engineered components.
No previous experience of gimbals or bellows is required. We welcome candidates from sheet metal, fabrication, fitting, assembly, and precision engineering backgrounds, with full training provided.
As part of a major investment programme, the business will relocate to a brand-new manufacturing facility in Lee-on-the-Solent in Spring 2027.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manufacture and assemble aerospace bellows and components
- Work with thin-gauge metals, including stainless steel, Inconel and titanium
- Operate fabrication equipment, including guillotines and rollers
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Carry out fitting, forming and assembly activities
- Complete inspections to aerospace quality standards
- Maintain a safe and organised work area

- Experience using fabrication equipment such as guillotines or rollers
