LAWN CARE TECHNICIAN

Esher, Surrey (Main office) | Locations covered – Hampton • Twickenham • Staines & surrounding areas

£28,000 – £30,000 per year + up to £2,000 annual bonus
Full-time | Permanent | Monday–Friday, approximately 8am–4pm

Our client is looking for a Lawn Care Technician to join their friendly, professional team and help keep our customers’ lawns looking their absolute best.

No previous lawn-care experience? No problem!
Full training will be provided, including the opportunity to gain PA1 & PA6 qualifications where required.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As a Lawn Care Technician, you’ll be responsible for looking after customers’ lawns and outdoor spaces across Surrey, South and West London.

Your day could include:

• Carrying out planned lawn-care programmes
• Applying fertilisers, treatments and herbicides
• Scarifying and hollow-tining lawns
• Cleaning and treating hard surfaces
• Travelling between customer properties in a company vehicle
• Building great relationships with customers
• Completing application records, paperwork and payments accurately
• Identifying opportunities and generating customer leads
• Keeping your vehicle and equipment clean, safe and well maintained

You’ll spend most of your time working independently, so being organised, reliable and comfortable managing your own day is important.

Experience

Customer service: 3 years preferred
Gardening/lawn care: 1 year desirable, but not essential

Most importantly, you’ll need a positive, can-do attitude and pride in delivering a great service.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT

A full, clean UK driving licence is essential as you’ll be driving a company vehicle and working across a wide geographical area.

FULL TRAINING PROVIDED

You don’t need to be an experienced lawn-care professional to apply.

Our client will provide the training you need to carry out the role safely and professionally, including PA1 & PA6 training and qualifications where necessary.

You’ll also receive training in:

• Safe chemical handling
• COSHH
• Product application
• Health & safety
• NPTC guidelines
• Lawn-care techniques and treatments

WHAT OUR CLIENT IS OFFERING

£28,000 – £30,000 salary depending on experience
Annual bonus of up to £2,000 pro rata

Working hours are approximately 8am–4pm, Monday to Friday, although some flexibility may be required during particularly busy or seasonal periods.
