Intercom Installation Engineer

Job Title: Intercom Installation Engineer (x2)
Location: Lancaster
Length: 1 week, starting 17th August
Rate: £220 per day

Are you an Intercom Installation Engineer based in or able to travel to Lancaster looking for your next contract opportunity? As an Intercom Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation of intercom systems across residential and student accommodation sites, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with project timescales. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.

Responsibilities:

* Install intercom systems throughout student accommodation in accordance with design drawings and specifications.
* Cable, terminate, and commission intercom equipment to manufacturer standards.
* Carry out first-fix and second-fix installation activities as required on site.
* Work efficiently to meet project deadlines and coordinate with site management.
* Ensure the work area is kept safe, tidy, and compliant with site rules at all times.

Experience and Certifications required:

* Proven experience in the installation of intercom or door entry systems.
* Familiarity with cabling, termination, and basic commissioning of access control or intercom equipment.
* Ability to read and work from technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
* Full UK driving licence.
* ECS or CSCS card (essential).
* FIA qualification (desirable).
