About the role
A welcoming primary school in Keresley seeks a confident KS1 Teacher for a full‑time September start. You deliver clear, structured lessons that help young learners feel safe, engaged and ready to progress. Moreover, you create calm routines that support focus, regulation and positive behaviour. In addition, you work across KS1 to provide consistent teaching and maintain strong curriculum coverage. Throughout the day, you guide pupils through purposeful tasks and promote steady academic growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach KS1 lessons with clarity, structure and enthusiasm
- Use effective routines to support focus and reduce anxiety
- Deliver phonics and early literacy that strengthen core skills
- Prepare adapted learning tasks for pupils needing extra help
- Promote positive behaviour approaches through calm communication
- Work closely with teaching assistants and the SENCO to maintain consistent provision
- Track pupil progress and adjust teaching when needed
What We’re Looking For
- A qualified Primary Teacher with PGCE or QTS
- Strong classroom experience across KS1
- Clear communication and a warm, nurturing approach
- Ability to follow structured routines and support emotional regulation
- Full‑time Monday to Friday availability from September
- Interest in Keresley‑based roles
