Disabled Refuge Installers

Job Title: Disabled Refuge Installer (x2)
Location: Hackney
Length: 8 weeks (starting 24th August)
Rate: £220 per day

Are you an experienced Disabled Refuge Installer based in or around Hackney looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Disabled Refuge Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of disabled refuge systems across a variety of educational buildings, ensuring all works are completed to the required standard and in line with project timelines. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and life safety solutions to its customers.

Responsibilities:

* Install disabled refuge systems across multiple sites in accordance with project specifications and drawings.
* Work across 4 college sites in the Hackney area as part of an 8-week programme.
* Ensure all installations comply with relevant British Standards and building regulations.
* Liaise with site management and other trades to coordinate works effectively.
* Complete all works to a high standard, ensuring minimal disruption to the day-to-day operation of each site.

Experience and Certifications required:

* Proven experience installing disabled refuge or voice alarm systems in commercial or educational environments.
* Familiarity with leading disabled refuge system manufacturers and their products.
* Ability to read and work from technical drawings and project specifications.
* Full UK driving licence (desirable).
* Valid ECS or CSCS card (essential).
* DBS check (essential).
