Kibworth Church of England Primary School

Salary: Grade 2 Pay Point 2 (£24,804 per annum, approximate starting salary of £5,559.06 per annum)

Hours: Part-time 10 Hours per week; 42 Weeks per year (Term Time Plus) role could include additional hours in the holiday to cover preschool or Holiday camps.

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Pattern: AM or PM - Monday to Friday: 05:30am - 07:30am or 3:30pm -5:30pm

About the Role

Kibworth Church of England Primary School are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, inspiring and highly motivated cleaner to ensure the hygiene, health and safety conduct of pupils and staff in the school, including safeguarding.

Key Responsibilities

  • To carry out cleaning duties as required, including sweeping, dusting, wall washing, toilet cleaning, mopping and use of vacuum cleaners.
  • Use approved cleaning materials in accordance with manufacturers printed instructions and COSHH Regulations. (Chemicals should NEVER be mixed with other chemicals).
  • To be aware of their responsibilities for the Health & Safety of themselves and others and comply with Health and Safety legislation, School Policy and good health and safety working practices in relation to the use of the school premises and grounds and own duties and responsibilities.
  • Use electrical and mechanical equipment, floor polishers, etc when necessary and after appropriate training.
