As a Complex Care Healthcare Assistant (HCA) in Reading, you’ll provide attentive care to individuals with complex needs in a care home setting.

You’ll assist with daily living activities and clinical support tasks, always working to promote dignity, independence, and comfort.

- Females
- Minimum 12 months complex care experience

Trained in the following:
- Tracheostomy
- Nebulisation
- Suctioning
- Cough Assist
- Oxygen Therapy
- Epilepsy

What you'll do

• Provide high-quality complex care support
• Uphold dignity and independence
• Assist with washing and dressing
• Support movement and positioning
• Help with meals and hydration
• Administer and record medications
• Take and track observations
• Carry out ECG checks
• Support wound care needs
• Perform blood draws (phlebotomy)
• Conduct Doppler assessments
• Administer B12 injections when trained
• Offer emotional reassurance
• Maintain a safe environment
• Escalate health concerns
• Work with nurses and staff
• Record care clearly

What you'll bring 

• Minimum 6 months UK experience as a Complex Care Healthcare Assistant (HCA) in a care setting
• A kind, professional and patient nature
• Clear communication skills
• Dependable and able to manage shifts independently
• Confidence working with complex clinical needs
• Passion for delivering safe and effective care
• Previous complex care experience desirable
• Tracheostomy trained
• Ventilator care trained
• PEG feeding trained
