As a Complex Care Healthcare Assistant (HCA) in Eastbourne, you’ll work closely with residents requiring complex care in residential and nursing settings.

You’ll follow comprehensive care plans to deliver personalised support, from everyday care needs to more advanced clinical assistance, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.

Within a team-focused environment, your contribution will support continuity and quality of care across each shift.

Flexible working patterns available, including long days and nights.

- Female
- Minimum 12 months’ care experience

Trained in the following:
- Tracheostomy
- Nebulisation
- Suctioning
- Cough Assist
- Oxygen Therapy
- Epilepsy

What you'll do

• Deliver high-quality complex care
• Uphold dignity and respect
• Assist with hygiene and personal care
• Support transfers and mobility
• Support nutrition and hydration
• Manage medication safely
• Take and record observations
• Conduct ECGs
• Assist with dressings
• Perform phlebotomy tasks
• Carry out Doppler checks
• Administer B12 injections if trained
• Provide emotional reassurance
• Maintain clean surroundings
• Monitor condition changes
• Work alongside nurses
• Keep clear care notes

What you'll bring

• 6 months+ UK experience in a similar Complex Care Healthcare Assistant (HCA) role
• A calm, caring and reliable approach
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Ability to work flexibly and independently
• Confidence with complex care tasks and support
• Dedication to high standards of care
• Experience with complex or clinical care preferred
• Tracheostomy trained
• Ventilation trained
• PEG feeding trained
