The Role
As a Rope Access PFP Applicator, you will be responsible for carrying out Passive Fire Protection (PFP) activities, including the preparation and application of Chartek systems to offshore structures and assets.You will work to detailed specifications and quality standards, ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently within a highly regulated offshore environment.Key Responsibilities

Apply Chartek Passive Fire Protection systems in accordance with project specifications and manufacturer requirementsCarry out surface preparation activities prior to applicationApply PFP materials to the required film thickness and quality standardsUndertake repairs and maintenance of existing PFP systems where requiredEnsure all work is completed in line with Health, Safety and Environmental proceduresMaintain a clean and safe work area and ensure equipment is used correctlyWork effectively as part of a multi-disciplined offshore team
Essential Requirements

Current IRATA Rope Access certificationValid Chartek Applicator qualification or pittchar but may also consider with OPITO fireproofing L2Previous experience applying Passive Fire Protection (PFP) systems offshoreCurrent offshore certification, including:

BOSIET/FOETMISTOffshore Medical
Strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures and safe systems of workAbility to mobilise immediately
