Data Analyst – Housing

Data Analyst (Housing) Location: Essex (2 days per week onsite) Rate: £450 per day Umbrella (£350.88 PAYE) Contract: 6 Months We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to support a major Housing Asset Management data improvement programme. Working within a Local Authority environment, you will play a key role in improving the quality of housing asset data, supporting project delivery and ensuring the council has accurate information to drive decision making. Key Responsibilities Support a large scale data cleansing and data quality improvement programme. Work closely with the Lead Analyst to improve data held within the Housing Asset Management system. Validate, cleanse and maintain housing asset data. Produce reports and dashboards to monitor progress and data quality. Track project milestones, risks, actions and dependencies. Hold project teams accountable for agreed actions and highlight delivery risks. Produce regular progress reports for stakeholders. Support project coordination across the Housing Asset Management improvement programme. Engage with both technical and non technical stakeholders. Essential Skills Previous experience as a Data Analyst. Experience working within Housing, Asset Management or Local Government. Strong experience with data cleansing, validation and data quality improvement. Excellent reporting and analytical skills. Advanced Excel and Power BI experience. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience tracking project plans, actions and risks. Desirable Experience using MRI Asset Management, Orchard or similar Housing Management systems. Knowledge of Housing Asset Management data. Project Management or PMO experience. *Rates depend on experience and client requirements
