About the role
Endpoint Support Engineer - NHS Location: Norwich - Hybrid Working, covering Norfolk and Suffolk Contract: Initially 3-6 months Day Rate: £180 per day IR35: Inside IR35 Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday Start: ASAP We are recruiting for an experienced Endpoint Support Engineer to join the Digital Services function of a large NHS community healthcare organisation. The role will provide second-line technical support to clinical and corporate users, resolving incidents remotely and in person while supporting the deployment, maintenance and improvement of endpoint hardware and software. Key Responsibilities · Provide second-line technical support across desktop hardware, software and peripherals. · Troubleshoot and resolve incidents relating to desktops, laptops, applications and associated equipment. · Build, install, configure, upgrade and maintain IT equipment and software. · Manage incidents and service requests within the IT service management system. · Support Active Directory, Windows devices, Microsoft 365, Citrix and endpoint security tooling. · Carry out site visits across Norfolk and Suffolk for hardware rollouts, moves, changes and technical support. · Maintain accurate endpoint asset and support documentation. Essential Experience · Strong experience providing second-line desktop or endpoint support. · Working knowledge of Active Directory, Windows 11 and Microsoft 365. · Experience troubleshooting desktop and laptop hardware, software and peripherals. · Knowledge of Citrix, endpoint security and asset management solutions. · Strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills. · ITIL Foundation knowledge or equivalent service management experience. · Full valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
