Medical Call Handler – Poole – £12.71ph – Part Time

We’re looking for a friendly, organised telephonist to join a busy GP practice in Poole. You’ll be the first point of contact for patients, handling calls, recording information accurately on clinical systems, and directing patients to the right services.

Responsibilities:

• Answer patient calls and enquiries professionally
• Record patient details on clinical systems
• Support reception duties and administrative tasks
• Signpost patients to appropriate services

Experience & Skills:

• Excellent communication and telephone manner
• Strong customer service and admin skills
• Calm under pressure with good typing ability
• Previous healthcare or GP experience is a bonus

Additional Information:

• Immediate start
• This role could lead to a permanent position
• Part time – 29 hours
