Patient Services Clerk – Poole – £12.71PH – Part Time

We’re working with a busy healthcare practice looking to recruit a Patient Services Clerk to join their friendly and professional team.

This is a varied role combining reception, patient-facing customer service, and general administration. You’ll be one of the first points of contact for patients, providing a welcoming and efficient service while supporting the wider practice team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome patients, manage appointments, and handle enquiries professionally
• Provide general administrative support to clinicians and the wider practice
• Update and maintain accurate patient records and registrations
• Process incoming and outgoing post, emails, and documentation
• Support reception cover and ensure patient areas are maintained
• Assist with clinical administration and patient information as required
• Support the smooth running and security of practice premises

Requirements:

• Previous customer service or administration experience
• Excellent communication and telephone skills
• Strong IT skills with good attention to detail
• Professional, friendly, and patient-focused approach
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure
• Full UK driving licence – travel between multiple practice sites is required
