About the role
Groundworker/Labourer Required – York – Immediate Start
We are currently recruiting for 2x Groundworker/ 2x Labourer to join a busy Refurb/Civils project based in York, with an ASAP start available.
Job Details:
- Location:York
- Rate: £17.00 – £20.00 per hour CIS
- Start: ASAP
- ⏱ Full-time hours available
Duties Will Include:
- Levelling and preparing ground around utility/service installations
- Operating dumper truck
- Backfilling and compacting excavations
- Reinstatement and general groundworks
- Working safely around live services
- Using hand tools and small plant where required
- Supporting the site team with day-to-day groundworks activities
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS Card (Essential)
- CPCS/NPORS
- Previous groundworks or utilities experience
- Experience working around live services is advantageous
- Own PPE and relevant tools
- Reliable, hard-working and able to work effectively as part of a team
