CaretakerLocation: CroydonHours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pmContract: Full-TimeStart Date: Immediate Start AvailableWe are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Caretaker to join a leading social housing provider in Croydon.This is a varied role where you will be responsible for maintaining communal areas, carrying out general caretaking duties, and supporting housing teams with day-to-day tasks. A company vehicle will be provided, and you will be required to drive between sites and complete errands as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintaining the cleanliness and appearance of communal areas.Carrying out basic health and safety checks.Reporting maintenance issues and repairs.Assisting with property inspections and access arrangements.Removing fly-tipping and litter from communal spaces where required.Transporting materials, equipment, and documents between sites.Running errands on behalf of the housing team using a company vehicle.Providing excellent customer service to residents and visitors.RequirementsFull UK Driving Licence (essential).Previous experience in a caretaking, facilities, maintenance, or similar role preferred.Good communication and customer service skills.Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.Reliable, organised, and proactive approach to work.Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures.What We OfferMonday to Friday working pattern.9:00am – 5:00pm hours.Company vehicle provided during working hours.Long-term, stable employment with a reputable social housing provider.Supportive working environment and opportunities for progression.If you are a dependable individual with a full UK driving licence and are looking to join a respected social housing organisation, wed like to hear from you.Please apply with an up-to-date CV.
