Are you a compassionate and resilient Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a child’s educational journey?
Zest Education is recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Reception-aged pupil at a welcoming and highly regarded infant school in Rednal, Birmingham.
This rewarding role is ideal for an experienced TA who is confident supporting children with high behavioural needs. You will play a vital role in helping the child access learning, develop positive relationships, and thrive within the school environment.
The Role
- Full-time Teaching Assistant position
- Working on a 1:1 basis with a Reception child
- Supporting learning, engagement and emotional regulation throughout the school day
- Collaborating closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support staff
- Creating a positive, nurturing and structured environment to encourage progress
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 8:25am – 3:40pm
- Staggered start from 3rd September

The Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will:
- Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or SEND Support Assistant
- Must be NVQ Level 3 qualified or above in a relevant childcare qualification
- Be confident supporting children with behavioural needs
- Have experience with, or knowledge of, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD
- Demonstrate patience, consistency and resilience
- Be passionate about helping children achieve their full potential
- Work effectively as part of a team while showing initiative
