MFL Teacher – Walsall

Zest Education are working closely with a large secondary school in the Walsall area.  Zest have been asked to recruit a MFL (French and German) Teacher, to teach across KS3 and KS4. The role is a full-time position, that will start in September 2026, this will be for one term.

The school focuses their energies on creating a caring and supportive environment for their pupils and encourages their students to make the correct choices in everything they do. The successful candidate will be joining a hardworking departmental team, that strive to prepare all of their pupils for the ever changing future.

The school are ideally looking for a creative, enthusiastic and passionate MFL teacher.

The successful applicant will have:

• A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
• A strong passion for the subject of MFL and excellent subject knowledge in French and German across KS3 and KS4
• A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
• The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements).
• Strong classroom and behaviour management

Rates of pay vary dependant on experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
