About the role
A supportive primary school in Willenhall seeks a committed Teaching Assistant for a full‑time September start. You help pupils feel calm, confident and ready to learn. Moreover, you follow clear guidance from the class teacher to deliver structured support throughout the day. In addition, you encourage engagement, model positive behaviour and promote steady progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide classroom support that strengthens daily learning
- Deliver small‑group activities that reinforce key skills
- Offer 1:1 personalised support when required
- Use clear routines to support regulation and reduce anxiety
- Prepare adapted learning tasks for pupils needing extra help
- Support positive behaviour approaches through calm communication
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to maintain consistent provision
What We’re Looking For
- A qualified or experienced Teaching Assistant, ideally L3 TA
- Confidence supporting pupils with varied learning needs
- Clear communication and a patient, nurturing approach
- Ability to follow structured routines and support emotional regulation
- Full‑time Monday to Friday availability from September
- Interest in Willenhall‑based roles
