Location: Municipal Offices

Work Pattern: 9 am till 5:30 pm – 37 hours per week

PAYE Pay Rate: £28.73 per hour

Main Purpose of the Role

To manage and supervise the Repairs and Maintenance Team, ensuring a high-quality, cost-effective and customer-focused service. The role also ensures compliance with health and safety, building and environmental legislation.

Typical Day

• Supervise tradesmen, contractors and support staff.
• Plan, priorities and monitor repairs and maintenance work.
• Carry out site visits, inspections and surveys.
• Monitor performance, costs and materials.
• Deal with customers, contractors and internal teams.
• Identify and manage health and safety risks.
• Attend meetings and prepare reports.
• Support staff performance and development.
