Cafe Chef – Coastal Café | £16.50 per hour | 40–45 hours We’re looking for a hands‑on, quality‑driven Chef for busy cafe kitchen at this year‑round café on the South Devon coast, TQ14. If you love fresh, seasonal cooking and want a role with mainly daytime hours, this is the perfect fit. What you’ll be doing Running the kitchen operation Creating and delivering a fresh, seasonal café menu with consistency and volume Running a clean, organised, well‑structured kitchen Managing stock, ordering, suppliers, and GP Supporting small private events and occasional functions Maintaining excellent food safety and compliance standards What we’re looking for Experience as a Sous Chef or Head Chef in a fresh‑food environment Passion for simple, seasonal, high‑quality dishes Calm, organised style and happy working solo Strong understanding of kitchen systems, safety, and cost control Someone who thrives in a small team and enjoys being hands‑on The role £16.50 per hour 40–45 hours per week Mainly daytime shifts with occasional evenings for small events Year‑round, stable position in a qua;ity coastal café If you’re a chef who loves fresh food, great standards, and a balanced lifestyle, we’d love to hear from you.
