Secondary English Teacher – DN17 – September 2026 

Provide Education are working with a secondary school in DN17 who are seeking an English Teacher to start in September 2026. The position offers the opportunity to join an established school and provide high-quality English teaching to students across KS3 and KS4.
The school is looking for someone who can engage young people, maintain high standards and create lessons that encourage students to develop a genuine interest in English.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status
• English teaching experience within a secondary school and strong subject knowledge
• Confidence teaching KS3 and KS4
• Good behaviour and classroom management and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils
• A commitment to supporting student progress
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality English lessons
• Plan appropriately for different abilities and learning styles
• Track pupil progress and identify areas for development
• Provide feedback and support students to improve
• Manage behaviour positively and consistently
• Work as part of the wider English department
