As the face of the business the General Manager along with an experienced team will be responsible for delivering high volume restaurant and bar service whilst working to very high standards. The pub offer the flexibility to deliver private events as well as community-based foodie nights, quizzes, live music etc. We're looking for a hands-on, highly visible General Manager who loves being front of house, knows how to engage with guests and understands the importance of creating a pub that people want to return to time and time again. The Candidate Previous experience as a General Manager, Deputy Manager or Designate Manager within a quality food-led pub or hospitality business Strong front-of-house presence with excellent customer engagement skills Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences Experience managing high-volume operations Commercially aware with a good understanding of sales, labour and profit controls Naturally enjoys building relationships within a local community Organised, energetic and capable of leading from the front Comfortable working closely with the kitchen team to deliver a quality fresh food offer This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a real impact, build lasting relationships within the local community and lead a pub that is genuinely at the heart of village life.
