General Manager – New Food & Beverage Operation - Visitor Attraction  Rewards & Benefits Salary up to £38,000 Performance-related bonus Predominantly daytime hours 5 days from 7 working pattern The chance to shape and grow a flagship operation from day one A well-respected South West–based retail catering company is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead an exciting new food and beverage offer at one of the region’s most popular outdoor destinations. This is a rare opportunity to mobilise, launch and run a brand-new multi-outlet operation, comprising: A destination restaurant Two additional quick-service offers All set within a high-footfall, outdoor leisure environment with a strong focus on quality, pace and consistency. The Role As General Manager, you will have full operational responsibility for the site, from pre-opening through to steady-state trading. You will: Lead the mobilisation and opening of the restaurant and quick service outlets Recruit, lead, motivate and develop a large front and back of house team Deliver high-quality, well-executed menus in a volume-led environment Take full ownership of standards, service, food quality and customer experience Manage budgets, margins, labour and performance KPIs Build a strong site culture focused on teamwork, pace and pride About You We are looking for a proven hospitality leader who: Comes from a quality, high-volume food business (branded or independent) Has experience running complex, fast-paced operations Can clearly demonstrate the ability to lead a business outside the confines of a rigid brand framework Is commercially astute, people-focused and highly organised Thrives in a hands-on role where no two days are the same Experience in visitor attractions, leisure, destination dining or retail catering would be advantageous, but is not essential.
