Your responsibilities will include: Overseeing the full events calendar — from enquiry to execution. Developing and managing a proactive sales strategy to grow event revenue. Building and maintaining relationships with corporate clients, local businesses, and the wider community. Identifying opportunities to host and promote events that appeal to the local demographic. Collaborating with marketing to maximise event exposure and ticket sales. Leading a passionate events team to deliver operational excellence and memorable guest experiences, implementing and monitoring SOP’s Ensure full compliance with health, safety, fire, food, and hygiene regulations by maintaining robust protocols, conducting regular risk assessments, training staff, and safeguarding all premises, people, and assets across event operations. Acting as site Duty Manager on a rota basis along with other senior managers The Candidate We’re looking for a dynamic, results-driven individual with: Proven commercial and operational experience in events, entertainment, or proactive sales within a hospitality, leisure, or venue setting. Strong business acumen and the ability to identify and capitalise on revenue opportunities. Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail. A passion for creating engaging, community-focused events. A confident networker who thrives on building lasting relationships.
