Wine Bar Manager

We are looking for a talented Wine Bar Manager to oversee all aspects of operating a modern wine retail, wine lounge & wine education business in a desirable area on the waterfront in the heart of Plymouth. Rewards & Benefits Salary + tronc c£35,000 - £40,0000 40-hour weekly contract Good work life balance Company discounts and events Duties & Responsibilities This established Wine Bar has built up a fantastic reputation in the city as a relaxed wine merchant, bar & wine tasting venue. You will take responsibility for all commercial aspects of operating this popular bar and event venue and be entrepreneurial in looking at scope for further development such as increasing daytime trade and identifying wholesale opportunities.   You will engage and train your team to improve their wine knowledge and insure the highest level of customer service. Candidate Requirements The successful candidate will have a good wine knowledge ideally WSET Level 2 qualified as a minimum, alongside demonstrating a genuine passion for the business and this independent companies’ values.  You will be confident in managing a small team and thrive on customer interaction and enjoy presenting and developing existing and new client relationships.
