Accounts Receivable Assistant

Role: Accounts Receivable Clerk Location: Manchester (Hybrid) Job Type: Permanent, Full-time Salary: Up to £30,000 About the OpportunityMorson Edge Finance is partnering with an established international organisation to recruit an Accounts Receivable Assistant into its European finance team.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with existing accounts receivable or finance experience who is looking to broaden their exposure and develop within a supportive finance environment. The role will work closely with the Credit Controller and wider finance team, supporting activity across a number of European entities.The position will have a particular focus on bank reconciliations, cash allocation and customer accounts, alongside journals and wider finance responsibilities. Key Responsibilities
Completing bank account reconciliationsPosting receipts and allocating cash to customer accountsDealing with customer queriesPosting credit notes where requiredPosting journalsSupporting month-end activities and financial reportingWorking closely with Credit Control, Finance and Commercial teamsSupporting wider finance projects and continuous improvement initiativesEnsuring adherence to financial controls and audit requirements.
 About YouWe are looking for someone who has previous experience within an Accounts Receivable, Finance Assistant or similar finance role and is now keen to continue developing their accounting experience.You should have:
Strong bank reconciliation experiencePrevious accounts/finance administration experienceExperience of cash allocation and working with customer accountsIntermediate Excel skillsExperience of using an accounting or ERP systemGood communication and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and numerical accuracyA stable career historyAAT study would be advantageous but is not essential.
