My client operates a fabulous collection of hospitality businesses in a popular North Devon town, consisting of a popular hotel and pub, in addition to a newly acquired pub close by.  This multi-site Food & Beverage Manager new role offers a great opportunity to join an independent and developing group offering assistance to relocate to a beautiful part of the South West region. Rewards & Benefits Salary c£30,000 - £35,0000 DOE A recently refurbed 2-bedroom property in the town Company Pension Discounted Excellent training within this excellent independent group Duties & Responsibilities Working closely with the General Manager, you take responsibility for Food and Beverage across the hotel and pubs offering a range of food and drink offers using good quality produce and suppliers.  You will coach and develop a team of c10 creating an engaged and guest focused environment. This NEW and senior role within the group will focus on key areas but will be broad and enjoy a good degree of autonomy and very much grow with the individual: Creative input in food and drink direction Leadership across FOH and BOH teams working closely with the Head Chef in developing interesting and creative menus. Ensuring operational standards for service, hygiene, training, and performance Involvement with weddings and events a key part of the business. Commercial oversight, including budgets and supplier relationships Candidate Requirements To be considered for this position candidates you will have a strong hospitality background from restaurants, food pubs or hotels with a desire to work in an independent environment.   Good Restaurant, Assistant or Duty Managers looking for a step up will be considered as training and development can be given.   You will be hands on in your approach, with a real love of Food & Beverage as this is where you will focus the majority of your time. Candidates must be able to demonstrate their ability to lead others and have a commercial approach to their work with a genuine guest focus.
