The Rewards - Competitive salary based on experience - Company benefits - Good work/life balance - Flexible working / part time hours if required The role Supporting the General Manager with the day to day running of the business, the Wedding & Event Sales Co-Ordinator will take responsible for the entire sales & marketing function within this hotel which specifically caters to the wedding market. Specific responsibilities will include; - Proactively driving marketing channels to ensure a pipeline of enquiries - Working with third party wedding platforms to generate enquires - Lead the hotels social media presence, utilising to generate business, organising all marketing activity, ticket events, weddings fairs - Ensuring the commercial validity of all events, flexing rates dependent on demand to drive business - Co-ordinating all aspects of the wedding /event and ensuring good communication head chef and relevant staff - Invoicing and processing payments - Compile and submit reports as required for the owners The Candidate We are looking for candidates with lots of passion and enthusiasm for the wedding industry and a proven ability in delivering sales. Candidates should be able to demonstrate their ability to market the venue across wedding specific channels and online platforms to generate a pipeline of enquiries. You will be detailed focused with excellent communication skills to ensure the operations team deliver the guest expectations. There is flexibility in this role to allow for reduced hours if required - this role could also include operational delivery of weddings if the successful candidate is keen to be involved in the delivery.
