Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative - Palletiser to join a busy and well-established food manufacturing business in Knowsley, Liverpool.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in production, warehousing, packing or machine operation who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is confident operating machinery, following quality standards and supporting efficient production.

Full training will be provided on site-specific equipment and processes.

Key Duties

• Operate and monitor palletising and production equipment.
• Stack finished products onto pallets safely and accurately.
• Check packaging, labels and product quality.
• Ensure pallets are built correctly and meet required standards.
• Monitor the production line and respond to minor stoppages or issues.
• Clear straightforward jams and carry out basic machine resets.
• Complete relevant production and quality checks.
• Record production information using basic computer systems.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, HACCP and Health & Safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Work as part of a busy production team to achieve daily targets.

Requirements

Previous experience specifically as a Palletiser is not essential.

Experience in any of the following roles would be considered:

• Production Operative.
• Machine Operator.
• Line Operative.
• Packing Operative.
• Process Operative.
• Food Production Operative.
• FMCG Operative.
• Warehouse Operative.

You'll ideally have experience working around production or automated machinery, with a good understanding of quality, hygiene and safety standards.

We're looking for someone who is:

• Reliable and committed to a permanent role.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Confident operating machinery and following set processes.
• Quality-conscious with good attention to detail.
• Comfortable using basic computer systems and recording information accurately.
• Physically capable of handling products and completing manual tasks.
• A good team player with a positive attitude.
• Able to consistently work 3pm-11pm, Monday to Friday.
• Previous food manufacturing or FMCG experience would be highly advantageous, but transferable production, packing or machine operating experience will also be considered.
