About Us:Set in a spectacular coastal location in South Devon, our boutique hotel offers a unique blend of relaxed luxury and exceptional service. With a small number of stylish bedrooms, a thriving food & beverage offering, and a tranquil spa, our hotel is a haven for guests seeking a memorable getaway. The Role:We are looking for an experienced and hands-on  Hotel Manager to take charge of the day-to-day running of the hotel. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will lead by example and inspire a team of department heads to deliver impeccable service across all areas. This is a highly operational role that requires a proactive, guest-focused individual who thrives on the floor and is committed to maintaining the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily hotel operations across all departments, including front of house, housekeeping, food & beverage, and spa. Drive a culture of proactive sales throughout the business, ensuring teams engage with financial targets and understand how their department impacts this  Lead and support department heads to ensure consistently high standards of service and guest satisfaction. Be visible and involved in all areas of the hotel, leading from the front and setting the tone for exceptional hospitality. Collaborate closely with the Managing Director on strategy, planning, and performance management. Drive a culture of excellence, team development, and continuous improvement. About You: Proven experience as an Operations Manager or Deputy General Manager in a luxury or boutique hotel environment. A hands-on leader with a genuine passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction. Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Strong understanding of operational processes, service standards, and hospitality best practices. A calm, solutions-focused mindset with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
