Assistant Manager – daytime foodie café near Falmouth                           Rewards & Benefits Competitive salary depending on experience but in the region of £28,000-35,000 Daytime working hours The Role Forming part of the senior management team of this independent, fresh food café /restaurant, we are looking to appoint an Assistant Manager. Reporting to the General Manager, the Assistant Manager will focus on front of house service standards plus supporting a small but skilled kitchen team, to ensure smooth running of the operation. Located in a prime waterfront with strong local trade plus high footfall passing by, this café enjoys high volume during peak season with steady trade throughout the year. This is a front of house based role but the Assistant Manager will be required to support the kitchen when required during busy times. The Candidate To be considered for this role we are looking for candidates who come with exceptional front of house experience and a proven ability at leading a small team in a fast paced environment. Whilst the Assistant Manager does not need to be chef trained a good understanding of kitchen operations is required. As an independent business, candidates should be happy within a fairly flat hierarchy, enjoy being customer facing and thrive in a fast paced environment.
