General Manager - City Centre Wine Bar & Merchants Rewards & Benefits - Competitive salary in the region of £32,000 - Share of tronc equating to £10,000 per annun approx. - 40 Hour p/w contract - Excellent long term progression The Role This is a really exciting opportunity to join a small group of bespoke Wine Bars operating a small number of sites across the South West. Our client is now looking to appoint a General Manager for their hugely successful Wine Bar in the centre of Bristol. Reporting to a passionate and energetic owner, the General Manager will take over full responsibility of the day-to-day operation of this bar including leading a small team, ensuring exceptional levels of service standards and proactively working to drive sales across all revenue streams including corporate events and wine tastings. Offering a good level of autonomy, this role represents an opportunity to take a pivotal role in the longer term success of this business. The Candidate To be considered for this role we are looking for an experienced wine manager, someone who either comes from a high-end bar environment or has worked as a Sommelier or Head of Wine in the luxury hotel market. Candidates will ideally be WSET qualified, passionate and knowledgeable and have a proven ability at delivering a memorable experience to guests.
