The Role:

Looking to build on your HR or recruitment experience in a role where your ideas are valued and your contribution makes a real difference? Or perhaps you're ready for a new career challenge?

If so, we'd love to hear from you.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Resourcing Team at Worcestershire County Council. We may be a small team, but we're highly respected, supportive, and passionate about delivering an excellent recruitment experience for both our hiring managers and candidates.

As part of our team, you'll work closely with managers and applicants throughout the entire recruitment journey. From the moment a vacancy is raised through to welcoming a successful candidate into their new role, you'll provide expert support, guidance, and excellent customer service every step of the way.

You'll play a key role in ensuring our recruitment processes run smoothly, professionally, and efficiently, while building positive relationships and confidently handling a variety of enquiries. We’ve also recently started handling the recruitment requirements for the Counties maintained schools, so there’s plenty to get involved with!

Most of our recruitment activity is managed through our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Tribepad. Experience of using Tribepad, or a similar recruitment system, would be beneficial, but it's certainly not essential, as full training can be provided.

What matters most is that you're organised, proactive, and customer-focused. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, be able to manage competing priorities, work independently when required, and take pride in delivering a high-quality service.

Does this sound like you?

If you'd like to learn more about the role and the skills we're looking for, please take a look at the attached Job Description and Person Specification.

For an informal discussion about the opportunity, please contact Paul Denslow, Resourcing Team Leader, at [email removed].

We look forward to hearing from you.
