TSR Legal is delighted to be working with an established and highly regarded commercial law firm with offices across Wales, who are looking to appoint a Civil Litigation Paralegal to join their Cardiff team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Paralegal looking to develop their career within civil litigation and property litigation, working closely with a Director and gaining exposure to a varied and high-quality caseload.

The Role

Working closely with a Director within the Litigation team, you will provide support across a varied caseload, with a particular focus on property litigation and commercial disputes.

This is a hands-on opportunity where you will have the chance to become closely involved in the progression of matters and develop your understanding of contentious legal work.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with a varied caseload of civil and property litigation matters.
• Supporting the management and progression of property disputes and commercial litigation matters.
• Preparing legal documents, correspondence and court documentation.
• Undertaking legal research and assisting with case preparation.
• Managing and progressing files in line with deadlines and client requirements.
• Liaising with clients, solicitors, courts and other third parties.
• Assisting with pre-action correspondence and litigation processes.
• Supporting enforcement and post-judgment matters where required.
• Maintaining accurate and well-organised case files.
• Providing administrative and legal support to the Director.
• Developing strong relationships with clients and providing a high level of service.

About You

We are looking for someone who is commercially aware, organised and keen to build a long-term career within litigation.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience within civil litigation, property litigation or another contentious legal environment.
• An interest in developing your knowledge of property and commercial disputes.
• A good understanding of litigation processes and court procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• The ability to manage deadlines and prioritise a busy workload.
• A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of your work.
• Confidence communicating with clients and professional contacts.
• The ability to work closely with a Director and wider team.
• A genuine interest in developing your technical legal knowledge.
