We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Stanley.

The Role

• Monday – Friday
• Primary School setting
• 8:30am – 3:30pm
• £107.71 per day

Teaching Assistant – Requirements & Skills

• Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, education or similar, or equivalent hands-on experience (required)
• Recent experience in a school or education setting (preferred)
• Passion for helping pupils reach their full potential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Main Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils to develop communication, independence and self-management skills
• Providing encouragement and reassurance to pupils requiring additional support
• Delivering one-to-one and small-group support
• Working collaboratively with teachers and other professionals
• Following safeguarding, confidentiality and school policies
